In April 2023, the partners of WEB Ventures, LLC were honored by the Boy Scouts of America, Dan Beard Council, as the 2023 Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award winners.

This prestigious award is given to an adult or an organization to recognize outstanding service and demonstrated involvement in the development and implementation of Scouting opportunities for youth from rural or low-income urban backgrounds.

William Witten, Howard Elliott, and Henry Brown were recognized by the leaders of the council as well as by the Mayor of Cincinnati, Aftab Pureval.

“We are flattered to receive this award,” Howard Elliott commented. “If we have inspired any young man to achieve his full potential by our involvement and exposure to successful Black role models, we are honored.”

WEB Ventures LLC was recognized at Community Action Agency’s 55th Annual Luncheon, “A Voice for Change,” as a 2019 Bridge Builder.

WEB Ventures LLC was awarded the Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award – Business Development in 2018 by the Ohio Department of Transportation for their work on the MLK Jr new I-71 interchange.

Recognized at the ground-breaking for the redevelopment of the Avondale Town Center in 2017, which completed construction in 2019 with 30% MBE/WBE Spend.
